Vantage Point Recruiters LLC has an account with Linked. The CEO has an account with LinkedIn, Bill Marek. At the past few weeks there have been many pop-ups and reports on Linkedin of false job advertisements, recruiter scams, search firms asking for money to revise resume, for job leads, etc. To avoid all this; doublecheck a few items. Recruiter Scam? Fake Job Scam? SIMPLE: Ask for Direct Phone Number & CALL It. Ask for Company website and home office Address. Also, If scam happened on Linkedin, report it to LinkedIn!Forward Phishing Emails: If scammer emailed your personal email address, forward message to phishing@linkedin.com To report scam to LinkedIn, using LinkedIn’s built-in reporting tools. Report the Fake Recruiter’s Profile
- Navigate to the scammer’s LinkedIn profile page.
- Click or tap the More button located near their profile photo.
- Select Report / Block from the dropdown menu.
- Choose Report [Member’s Name] or the entire account.
- Select It’s spam or a scam or This account is not a real person based on the prompt, then select the specific type of fraud.
